It’s not usually nice to laugh at people when they slip up, and I know I’ve been humiliated by many, many mistakes I’ve made. Which is why when I saw this video of models slipping on the runway, I was hesitant to post it. Surely these were some of the worst moments in these girls’ careers, and I bet they’d love nothing more than for the world to forget about them. But the Internet appears to be in stitches from laughing at this video, so I thought I would bring it to your attention, lovelies. Watch it here, then let us know if you think it’s funny or just sad!

*shrug* if you don’t want to be mocked for falling, don’t wear 5-inch heels. most women cannot, in fact, walk in heels AND look good doing it. and no guy i know loves the look of heels enough to not make fun of a chick that wobbles on her feet

It’s not surprising some models will stumble, wobble, and fall due to wearing those skyhigh heels. I really cracked up at 0:50. I remember a few years back, some news anchors commented on that model walking down the runway and eventually falling down. They were laughing so hard and I must admit, it’s hard not to laugh. I thought a few of those clips were hilarious. The woman who fell in the pool was being mighty extra! Lol. I don’t think it’s mean to laught at all. I fall all the time, much worse than these women, and I laugh at myself. I mean, what can they expect? They’re walking in very tall heels and most likely wearing very tight dresses.

it seems like half of those were because the floor was too slippery. you’d think they’d do something about that.

I’ve been doing modeling as a hobby for a few months now, and honestly? I think you’re much better off if you learn not to be self-conscious early on.
In still photography, for instance, the majority of pictures taken aren’t going to be good, much less usable for a portfolio – and we’re not even getting to advertising campaigns or art galleries. The difference between stills and runway is that you don’t get to get rid of all the mistakes made when you’re in front of a crowd.

I laughed until I realised how much that much hurt and that some of them would have been pretty much crippled for some time after… Nah I still laughed afterwards, I felt mean though. I loved the one where two of them fell over.
