It depends on where she’s wearing this get-up.  Pool side.  Beach resort/cruise ship .  Land-bound?  Probably not so much.  I think the top and shorts are cute, and the shoes do make her legs look miles-long.  I agree with you about the sweater–it would be much better thinner/sheerer and in a bright white shade instead of this creamy color.

Looks good to me.  I love the cardigan on top of it, without it I think I wouldn’t like the outfit as much because it’d just be too much showing and not as classy-ish looking.  The shorts go a little high for my tastes, but doesn’t look bad.  Starfish and sea stuff is fine, specially for summer time when most people are either at or dreaming of being in the water.  However, the seem in the middle of her shorts cuts the prints off and starts them in a very odd way, like the stitched two different patterns together without regard how well they meshed.  

Still overall I like.

If she was wearing it by the pool, without the cardy then yes its sooo cute. But not with the fugly cardigan and not at an event!

she’s adorable and fit, so she can get away with it. the shorts are form fitting but not too tight and trashy. the bralette with cardigan looks like a tease ensemble, but she doesn’t look skanky with it because of her clean cut rep. she’s a cute tease

I can see how they’d hate on lindsay for wearing something like this, but on selena, she’s adorable.

I can see how it’s controversial, but I can’t help but think it’s only because of her body shape. I don’t know why I think that.
