I think I’ve mentioned before that the difference between dogs and cats is that dogs want to be on your level, and that’s cool. Cats, on the other hand, think they’re better than you, so you’re in turn obligated to make them look ridiculous. Case in point: Cats in hats. There’s scarcely anything more appropriate than taking your cat, putting an absurd head ornament on them and telling them how handsome/pretty-pretty-princess they look. When in reality, you’re just trying to get the perfect snap of your cat looking like the adorable little pain in the butt that it is. Check these out. 


Why, yes Mr. Mistoffelees, you do look dashing in that (ahem) completely dignified hat. In my house we have put more… things on our cat’s head; tape, socks, underwear, Christmas bows.
