Before they got their big breaks, today’s most talked-about celebrities held regular jobs and even worked towards college degrees. A great deal of famous actors and musicians are not only talented artists, but have studied in college as well. Their chosen majors are all very different, but so interesting! Though it may surprise you, only a handful of celebrities majored in areas related to the performing arts.
Perhaps there is a correlation here that I never picked up on, but it turns out that some of the most successful celebs today are also the most intelligent. Some studied topics within the liberal arts, such as English and History, while others focused on topics such as Kinesiology, Biochemistry, and Cuisine. The celebrity faces behind these college majors certainly surprised me, and they may shock you, too! Check out the gallery to see if you share a major with any of Hollywood’s smartest. Personally, I was shocked to find out that I could discuss English and literature with Emma Watson, Kanye West, Julia Stiles, Matt Damon, and Reese Witherspoon. Maybe I should have looked into acting…

Probs would have been better to just make it an actual list, because Lovelyish galleries are horribly irritating and annoying to go through – especially if you’re internet happens to be running a bit slow at the time for whatever reason or you just don’t want everything reloading just to see an image.

There’s one thing to apply to and get into college and chose a major, and it’s another to actually put in four years and graduate….just sayin’! But props to them. I love people who chose to excel their education in any way possible. I personally know people who didn’t even finish high school, and it’s a sad, sad thing.
