Etsy!!! I love love love it! If you aren’t familiar with Etsy, it’s an e-commerce site focused on handmade and vintage. You can find everything here from jewelry to home decor to art supplies.
It’s my go-to website when I need to buy gifts for friends or family; they always have something awesome to offer. But mainly, I use it to spoil myself. I see so many cute accessories on Etsy, it’s hard to keep my pocketbook in check.
Here are some of the things I have found on Etsy that would improve even the most boring wardrobe.
You can see more in the gallery.
Do you ever shop on Etsy?

Those earrings are similar to two necklaces I really like and can’t decide between, although I think I’m leaning towards the one that has the sole accent piece. http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_570xN.313392531.jpg and http://img1-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_570xN.282734193.jpg (not linking the actual store because I do not want anyone buying these
)
Some of those are def overpriced. I try to stick to under 30 for most things, usually searching for under 20 though, and I’ve found awesome pieces that way before. I am really picky with what I’ll choose though because plenty of stores just sell wholesale items and claim them to be their own inventions when all they did was put two wholesale charms on a chain.

@ashleynicole - lol I know the store
but I won’t link it either, or buy the pieces. I would go with the gold necklace that has just the one turquoise accent it in
I really want to buy a purse or shirt from this Lady I love her stuff

those leggings scare me.

@Trueinnerbeauty - ooh you know which one, the accent piece one? It shall be mine! The store of the second link actually reopened (was on vacation) and has a new similar piece up that has the same type of design as the gold one but it’s all turquoise, I’m thinking I might get both because I love the look of both - http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_570xN.305960695.jpg
She’s got some cute bags! Gotta say, that orange one is cute. I kind of even like the old-lady flower print one lol.

@KatieK - What about the one herehttp://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_570xN.305960695.jpg Same store. I like both but I’m not 100% which one I prefer, I almost want them ALL… ugh!

I’m going to sound like a huge bitch but… There is no such thing as howlite turquoise as the seller of the long earrings claims. Howlite can be dyed to resemble turquoise or polished to look like white turquoise, but they are two different stones. Trust me, I’m a geologist.

I love Etsy! I have a ton of vintage earrings from there haha.

Nah because I always think, “Well, they made it themselves.. so I’m sure I can! To the craft store!”

@sorority_girl86@xanga - Thanks for the tip! It’s beautiful but it’s good to know what it really is.

@KatieK - They’re each about 30 bucks. I am thinking I might have to just wait until I am done my spring course this week and use it as a means of getting my mother to pay for the purchase as a gift for the obviously awesome grades I’ll be getting

They’re all awful. Apologies, but I really don’t like any of them.
