Making the bed is something I never excelled at. Even now, I just hate the mundane task of straightening out my sheets and blankets and pillows every single day. And when I was a kid, I dreamed of a bed that could tidy itself up. Finally, that dream has been made a reality.
The Spanish furniture company OHEA have designed the world’s first self-making bed. In 50 seconds, the mechanical arms straighten out the bed cover and readjust the pillows, all within three seconds of being vacated. There’s even a safety feature that ensures that the bed-making mechanism never goes off when there’s a person in the bed.
What do you think, lovelies? Dream come true, or a waste of money?

Everything that happens in my bed is all me! And that’s the way it’s going to stay.

I wonder if it still works if your sheets and blankets are all tangled up

I align my bed with stuffed animals, so they act as makeshift weights to keep my sheets in place
I double stack my two pillows, so they usually stay organized
my blankets are easy to fold. If I can quickly fold an origami boat, then I can fold my blankets in a snap. waste of money. I’d use the money to buy more plushies

How lazy can humans get? It takes me roughly 30 seconds to make my bed..

Seriously, people are so lazy. No wonder so many adults can’t spell, write and do basic maths – we rely on machines for everything. If they ever fail us, we’re fucked.
