I guess one way to make a ’20s-style drop-waist style more flattering is to belt it, but somehow that seems to defeat the purpose of a dress meant to hang loosely.

It looks like the top portion of her body was shrunk in PS and then put back on top of her normal-sized lower body.I hope it’s just the camera angle distorting her proportions.
