Yep, that’s Vinny Guadagnino from Jersey Shore. And don’t let the cast stereotype fool you, this smarty pants will be at Cornell University this fall. And he’s not the only celebrity taking some time to make sure they get a college degree. Check out the gallery of celebs who are going back to, or starting, college this fall.

Seems like big names always go to big school. It makes sense though, for some, to go to school in an entertainment town like New York or close to LA. But there is some controversy over Justin Combs going to UCLA on a full ride to play football. A lot of people think that he should have to pay since his dad can easily afford the tuition, and the money should be used to help other students. The younger Combs reacted saying that he deserves it; he worked hard to get to where he is and his accomplishments shouldn’t be overlooked just because his dad is famous (and schools also allocate money for athletic scholarships).

There are a number of young celebs out there who aren’t going to college (Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, the list goes on…) because it isn’t the right time in their career. I do think it’s important to keep learning. But if that means outside of the classroom for some or in lectures for others, as long as they keep learning it shouldn’t matter where it is.

Lovelies, do you think it’s important to have a higher education even if you’re already making millions? Do you think Justin Combs should have to pay tuition or should get his football scholarship?
