For the summer, I have a single studio space all to myself. Even if I’m only there for three months, I can’t stand to look at bare boring walls. So of course, I needed to think of creative ways to decorate.

Since it’s a dorm space, I can’t go nailing decorative pieces to the wall and truly making it a whole new room.  That’s why I needed to brainstorm a bit.

Sticker frames have been quite popular lately, and I decided I needed to give them a try in attempts to save my room’s walls.

I found (of course via Pinterest) Butch & Harold’s Stickr frames, which work great on nearly any surface.  Plus, they come in a ton of awesome colors.  My room is decorated in a pink and brown palette, so being able to find brown frame decals was definitely a plus.  It doesn’t hurt that they are also super cute!  Notice how adorable the pink ones are, pictured above.

The best thing about these frames is how versatile they are.  No need for using annoying levels on heavy frames, these frames even come with a ruler decal to help align them properly.

The adhesive allows them to be moved and stuck again and again, and they seem to stick pretty securely even though I have reapplied them a few times.

Friends that have come over have complimented how cute the frames are, and are such a clever alternative to a normal photo frame.  I’m excited to see how they hold up.

Here’s a photo of another frame decal I love!  The perfect addition to a dorm or bed room, this decal is available on Dormify for $85.

Lovelies, have you ever used photo frame decals?  What’s your take on them?
