We recently saw Kristen Stewart sneak out of some sneakers and into heels before a red carpet appearance. And while her shoe-swapping caused people to talk, everyone seemed to overlook the fact that Stewart has been known to wear casual shoes at high-class events. Her Converse-clad feet first drew attention at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards (above), and she’s been rocking similar kicks with formal gowns ever since. While some may berate Kristen’s choice of red-carpet wear, I think we all know how miserable heels can be.
