Last Thursday, my sister and her senior class recorded their second lip dub that incorporated the songs “Animal,” “Call Me Maybe” and “Ocean Avenue.” If you’re unaware of what that is, it’s a music video that combines lip syncing and audio in one smooth shot. I’m really proud of what they put together, and I can’t stop watching it over and over again. I’m particularly biased, because it was filmed in the halls of my own high school and on the grounds I graduated from three years ago. Regardless, the choreography and incorporation of so many different groups was impressive. From the crazy costumes to the hilarious lip syncing, they put in a lot of time and effort to create this video.

Check it out! Can you find Waldo?

They even got principals and teachers involved, too! I wish my senior class was this talented and creative to pull something this awesome off. Instead, we had a senior night where we hired a hypnotist, I fell under his spell and I made a fool out of myself in front of my graduating class. From quiet girl turned extrovert over night, I managed to create content for people to reflect on in my yearbook that year.

Have you ever heard of lib dubbing? What are your favorite videos?
