New Zealand student Emily Steel has taken the internet by storm with her back-lit dress made from film strips. Little black dress by day, glowing photo gallery by night — would you wear this?
The film slides are backed by light-sensitive equipment, so when the lights go down, the dress lights up. Pretty neat, huh?
Still, the idea is cool, but the final product? It’s kind of frumpy looking, in my opinion, and more than a little uncomfortable. And walking around looking bio-luminescent isn’t exactly on my agenda (though might be on my bucket list).
What about you, lovelies? Would you wear a light-up dress?

it would look cool as a motorcycle jacket on a sexy biker guy, who looks like johnny depp or is johnny depp

I wouldn’t wear it, but it’s pretty flipping cool!

I think it’s cool and artsy. I don’t know where you could get away with wearing it.

I think it’s cool. I’d probably only wear it if it were made into a skirt of sorts, though. It’s a bit too much this way.
