So, I was watching TV the other day and the show Friends came on — which happens to be one of my favorite shows. I’m realizing how many years have gone by since that show aired.  

Years ago, people watched Friends religiously, copied the Rachel haircut and secretly hoped the show would go on forever – and possibly have a movie made. Well, since then, they’ve all grown up from the days of playing their quirky characters and many have changed dramatically. So, in the spirit of Friends I’ve found before and after pictures, to show just how much they have changed over the years. 

Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston)

She went from cute and funny Rachel to gorgeous movie star.

David Schwimmer (Ross Geller)

We all loved Ross’s adorable geekiness in Friends.

Monica Geller (Courteney Cox)

She was the neat/control freak sister of Ross. She now stars in a TV show, Cougar Town.

Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry)

Funny Mr. Bing always humored us – and was my favorite character. 

Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow)

We loved her quirky awkwardness in Friends, but she has since starred in several movies.

Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc)

Ladies Man Joey got his start on Friends and has built his career ever since.

While some of the actors (and fans) of Friends are hoping for a movie because of the popularity of the show, it probably won’t happen. Still, we can reminisce and watch reruns of a popular show that held our attention for so long.
