Malin Akerman showed up to the Children’s Defense Fun benefit in L.A. on Wednesday sporting a simple leather dress and heels. While the heels are fabulous, is there something off about Malin’s choice of dress?

Is it her high-collared mesh shirt under the plunging leather neckline? Is it the awkwardly short length of the leather cover compared to the length of the black skirt? Is it the fact that the breast area looks uncomfortably tight? (Or the fact that she’s wearing leather in May — she must be dying!)

Still, I’ve fallen in love with her shoes, and the legs attached to them. The dress might not be my favorite, but Malin looks great, regardless.
