If I wore a dress like this to a Memorial Day barbecue, I would probably look like a clown. Katy Perry, on the other hand, rocks this awesome ensemble fearlessly.
Donning this number at Fleet Week in New York, a tradition where military ships dock and observe the scenery, Katy Perry showed her American pride and loyalty. This patriotic gown screams “USA.” All she had to do was wave her left hand, and that flag would ripple in the wind.

You’d never see a Canadian wear a Canadian flag dress on Canada Day. Just sayin. (This is a good thing btw. We are not overzealously patriotic).

Isn’t it illegal to wear the likeness of the flag on you like clothes? Lol– way to accidentally diss the flag while ‘showing pride and loyalty’ Katy =}
Seems a lot of us do this though. The only reason I know this is because I tried to tie a flag into my hair during a parade. I was with an old fashioned lady….
