As we’ve learned, “bentos” are Japanese meals prepared to look like art, rather than just food. While my school lunches usually consisted of soggy PB&J, kids in Japan are getting lunches like this from Mom (not that I didn’t appreciate mine!). I can’t imagine how much more popular I would have been with bento boxes on my side in middle school. Click here to see some more amazing food art!

Aw man the CSI: Miami one is my favorite. I can hear the “YEAHHH!” of the theme song starting as I look at it. It also makes me hungry.

These are cute, but honestly I didn’t click on the picture gallery ones. Too annoying. I like the one with the strawberries and cherries and oranges. I have no idea if that guy to the left is supposed to be a bear or a cat, but he’s cute.
