Colorblocking was huge this past fall and winter, and these things rarely just drop off suddenly. The way that spring and summer are reinventing the trend is — among other things — with metallics. From gold-tipped shoes to chrome-dipped nails, the look is luxurious, but easy to achieve! Try out some of these awesome metallic manicures to get your summer started stylishly.
These inspire me to give those nail stickers another go-round. These are classy and easy to do. They’re like black-tie nails. Love it! Check out the gallery for some more metallic manicure inspiration.
Are you into metallics this summer?

I like that shiny silver French manicure! I wish I can paint my nails so pretty and neat as these in the pictures.

So cool! This is probably a really naive question, but are there metallic polishes out there? .__.

@cryholy@xanga - I have the same question!!! Can’t use foil for everything!

@cryholy@xanga - yes! Zoya’s Trixie is a good silvery metallic one!

Just wondering…did Nailblog.net gave you permission to a) use her photo, b) crop the watermark off the top, c) not give her any sort of credit for the photo, and d) not to link back to her original post?

@jesikah6 - I agree that proper crediting is the best thing to do. I was looking for a link to click on a post to see larger and also realised that there simply wasn’t one.
All users of other’s copyrighted content should give proper credits for reasons of etiquette and also for their own safety to avoiding potential plagiarism /stealing /breach of copyright accusations and other such things. I’ve seen it happen before and negative repurcussions can usually be avoided by following these simple rules.
