I am officially done with school and ready to vacation. But of course, first I have some shopping to do.
Wide Brim Hat
I’m going to the beach in a couple weeks with my family, and although I’m looking forward to getting a nice tan, I want to protect my face from harmful UV rays. I love the classy, old-Hollywood feel of wide brim hats, and I think a nice straw one is a good way to keep your skin safe in style.
Flatforms
This summer’s newest show trend is the perfect way to get height and still keep an outfit super casual. I’m probably going to pick up a strappy sandal version, but I love the plain flats version as well.
BB Cream
BB creams are perfect for summer because they are the ultimate lazy girl’s makeup product. Somewhere in-between a foundation and a tinted moisturizer, BB creams promise to brighten and even out skintone, while protecting the skin with SPF 15. Have any of y’all tried a BB cream? Which one did you try?
White Converse Chuck Taylors
My roommate has a pair of white Converse Chuck Taylor’s and I am OBSESSED with them. They are the epitome of a classic casual shoe and really go with anything, but I really like the look of wearing them with dresses for an ultra-laidback look.
High-low skirt
I already have more pairs of denim shorts than I could ever possibly wear, so I’m really excited about integrating a high-low skirt into my wardrobe to change things up a bit. I’m picturing wearing one with a simple loose blouse and flat sandals.

I also want to try BB cream

I really like the idea of a wide-brim hat! I also want to try BB cream. I use a tinted moisturizer now that includes SPF, but the BB cream sounds like an even better deal, especially the one you posted. It is a bargain at $12 a tube. For summer I love wedge sandals and sundresses, lace trimmed camisoles. Those are forever on my summer shopping list. I’m not trendy, I go for what I like. Except in the last couple years I added maxi-dresses. I don’t care if they’re not “in.” I wear ‘em because I like ‘em.

BB cream and wide brim hat are also on my list to buy this summer…along with a new bathing suit and flip flops since my sis keeps taking mine!!

I LOVEEEEEEEEee high low skirts and dresses!!! Just bought two today and two the other month!
Not a huge fan of the shoes though… I always feel like they’re too chunky for my legs and make my calves look fat

I really don’t like the look of flatform sandals. :X I do, however, think high-low skirts are cute!

I want a wide brim hat too!

I’m obsessed with platfoom wedges right now, and my bb cream

I’d want to try a BB cream too but the 15 SPF is too low; I usually want at least a 30 SPF.

I’m obsessed with Converse… totally just added those to my own list!

i don’t like the look of the flatforms or whatever. i feel like they’d be weird to walk around in. i use dr. jart premium bb cream, i got it from sephora… easily the most expensive makeup i’ve ever bought in my life. i don’t know if it’s incredible but it works alright. i want to try more bb creams so i can make a fair judgement on it. and i totally want a pair of white chuck taylors.

I’m sorry but I think flatforms are just ugly. They are a 90′s fashion that I never wanted to see again. I had never heard of BB cream until about March, and now I have been hearing about it all spring and summer long. I love the hats and chucks though, very cute. =)

I want all of these as well, except for the chucks. I already bought a mullet skirt and it’s surprisingly flattering.

I love high-low skirts. I bought one a few weeks ago to wear for my boyfriends graduation, and I want more. Everything else on the list seems silly to me, though. Those hats are just way too huge, those shoes look really uncomfortable, that cream is a waste of money, and white Converse get SO dirty SO fast. They will turn gray within 2 weeks. Also… low-tops are weird. Hi-top only for me. I have 3 pairs… normal black, black on black, purple and I plan to get turquoise at some point, when my cash flow increases.

Sunblock/sunscreen is number one on my list. Having lived in the Chicagoland area until my 27th birthday, I never really needed sunscreen unless I was in a different state. Now that I’m living in Arizona, I’ve already been burnt three different times. I need a 30 SPF minimal, if not 50.
I want to try a pair of Converse. It’s just the matter of finding myself a pair. I love the super casual look.
