I’m not a big baker, but I would call myself a phenomenal taste tester. Despite my lack of culinary prowess, I am happy to accompany my sister or roommate in the kitchen whenever icing or batter needs to be sampled. Recently, though, I discovered that some things are just too cute to eat.
Throughout my Internet wanderings, I’ve found millions of cupcakes that resemble works of art more than they do desserts. I don’t want to eat these cupcakes. I want to collect them and put them in little glass cases and show them to people. Take a look at the gallery below to see some adorable cupcakes that really are just too cute to eat.
Tell me, Lovelies, which one is your favorite?

Shoes and cupcakes – two of my favourite things

No such thing as too cute to eat. I know if I spend my time baking and decorating cookies, I want people to enjoy them not keep them to admire. I can’t decide if I would start with the toe or the heel on those shoe cupcakes.

Surprising friends with such masterpiece must be a wonderful feeling
I wish I was that creative but since I’m not I can only bow to the one who made these lovely cupcakes =)

Too cute! It is really wonderful to serve up pretty cupcakes to friends, but I really want for them to enjoy them as well. Yes, sometimes decorating them is a lot of hard work, but when you see the smiles their faces, it’s worth all the effort. I really like the Alice in Wonderland and bridal shower ones.

OMG THE OWL!! I absolutely love decorating cupcakes because I look at them like tiny art projects. Actually just last night I decorated 150 cupcakes for a work event, but by the end I was so tired that I got lazy and just threw sprinkles on them and called it good.

There is no such thing as “too cute to eat”. The owl is adorable.

Too cute! My sister-in-law, sister, and I recently decided to have a weekly girls’ night when we could bake stuff, and I think I’ll suggest these! I LOVE them!

When we were kids we used to have mini-cheeseburgers that were a couple colors of icing sealing together a thin mint with ‘nilla wafers as the “buns”. Good times. The owl cupcake is delightful.
