I definitely have way more jewelry than I will ever need. Jewels and baubles are great to collect and give as gifts, so I know I’m not alone. Rather than hiding all my necklaces and earrings in a box, I love displaying them using this easy DIY.

This isn’t the most innovative craft ever, but what I love most about it (besides its simplicity) is that it can be customized for any room or personality. Paint designs around the frames or throw on some flowers or twigs for a boho feel.

For this DIY you’ll need a frame (duh). I got my mine at a thrift store. Take the back off and customize the frame as you like.

For necklaces, simply use a nail to hang the frame on the wall, and use clear pushpins to anchor the necklaces at the top.

Earrings are a bit trickier. I found a cheap laundry hamper made of netting at my local grocery store, cut the netting into into the right size rectangles and then stapled them to the back of the frame. The netting provides holes to put earrings in, and practically blends into my walls.

How do you display or store your jewelry?
