Swimsuit season is here whether you like it or not. But that doesn’t mean you have to go on some crazy cleanse diet. Instead, you can incorporate a bunch of little things into your daily schedule to help you shed a few pounds and stay in shape.
Many of us don’t like working out and dread going to the gym. If you’re one of those people, you don’t necessarily have to go to the gym to get in shape. While going to the gym will really help you get into shape, doing some extra things at home can help out too.
Try adding these five things into your daily routine, and you’ll notice a difference.
1. Park Far Away From the Entrance When Shopping
2. Do 100 Crunches A Day
3. Drink Water Instead Of Soft Drinks When At A Restaurant
4. Go For Walks Or Bike Rides When It’s Nice Out
5. Hold Your Stomach Muscles In When Just Sitting Around

2. Do jumping jacks instead of crunches
5. squeeze your pelvic floor during ab exercises

I do most of this anyway. Whoo!

@ShimmerBodyCream@xanga - as long as you remember to breathe while squeezing the pelvic floor!

Crunches are a waste of time. Like someone else said, do 100 jumping jacks or jump rope for 5 minutes.

Crunches are useless.
My other tip is to get as much good sleep as you can.
guest
@Endrath@xanga - Yes. Sleep good. I’m so tired. The mention of sleep makes me want to fall out of my chair.

im tooo lazy :p

Crunches aren’t useless, but for people with a good amount of body fat to lose, cardio is better. It’ll get rid of some of the fat so the abs can be exposed.

@singlephoton@xanga - Crunches are almost the very least effective excersize for your upper abdominal muscles.
I quit the crunches after I discovered the captains chair and the stability ball.

Or I should say, I quit the traditional crunches. Crunches on the stability ball do less harm on your back and you’re strengthening your core trying to keep your balance on the ball.
