The Olympics are so close that every sports fan in every country is stocking up on flags and face paint. While the global sporting competition appeals to, well, millions, there are always those that just don’t seem to get excited. And that is where Vogue stepped in to help.

As an athlete, I love the Olympics. I could sit for days on end watching all of the events. As a girl, I adore this photo shoot. Maybe it won’t help more people be interested in the games, but at least people will know the names of the athletes representing this country, which I think to be much more important than every reality star ever seen on TV.
