Okay, “absurd” is my word for these things. And by that, I mean they could be absurdly awful, or absurdly awesome. Either way, the era in which we live has found a way of repurposing foods (and drinks) that is sometimes astounding. I mean, hello, the Doritos Taco Bell taco shell? Sometimes these folks really know what they’re doing. Other times… we have to question their logic. Take a look at some more funny food mashups and tell us if they’re absurdly awesome — or just atrocious.

I’ve heard of most of these(: The birthday cake oreos are pretty amazing, I’ve tried them(: I have a friend who has a bottle of the pb&j vodka or whatever(: But…uh….kit kat baked potatoes and hot sauce flavored soda do not appeal to me at allllll O.o

Chips & Oreos yumminess! The doritos taco looks good also the non-dairy creamers sound delish. I would try the kit kats and the pepsi but I’ll pass on the other things. haha.

I keep seeing the commercial for the dorito taco and I just want to gag. I don’t like Taco Bell in general, it’s a sad excuse of mexican food.

lol I saw the hot sauce soda when my best friend posted a picture of herself drinking it, I swear someone who knows her made that because when we were younger she loved drinking hot sauce straight from the bottle…but I would never drink it haha. I might have to try that vodka though

The non-dairy creamer stuff, absolutely. I love flavoring my coffee. It’s why I became so obsessed with 7/11 for a semester. And I’d also give the BLT chips a try. Everything else? I’m good.

The oreos actually sound kinda tasty. And I tried the Almond Joy creamer once, sooooo good. It’s one of my faves now. The rest of those things just sound gross. Pepsi and yogurt?!? =P It looked cool, but that would be gross!

Not that it’s directly relevant, but Chinese restaurants get so much crap about using MSG, that they have to display signs stating they do not add any, but doritos and other lays brand chips all contain MSG, as does campbell’s soup. It’s listed in the ingredients. When will the campaigns against Chinese immigrants’ hard earned money turn their attention to Frito-Lay and Campbells?

Ewwwwwwwwwwww to the baked potato flavored kit kat. I can’t even imagine that taste. The birthday cake oreos were disappointing. Tasted like chocolate dunkaroos, & I’ve always been a fan of the vanilla. But if they used vanilla cookies they’d probably be banging.
@britnirm - Agreed! I used to like them but then I tried real Mexican food. Now Taco Bell’s just gross.

I’m pretty sure the’yre new (at least they are to Canada!) but Ruffles has a sour cream and bacon flavoured chip now. I absolutely hatehatehate flavoured chips, but they’re actually good.

The creamers are delicious. I’ve had the Almond Joy and Cold Stone. They also had some holiday varieties around Christmas. The BLT Chips are delicious too. And I want to try the PB&J Vodka and the Birthday Cake Oreos.
On the other hand, I live where Taco Bell is fucking nasty to everyone. Mighty Taco is the way to go.
