Lady Gaga‘s fame knows no bounds, but this guest spot didn’t even involve hair and makeup. Gaga lends her voice to a cartoon depiction of herself for the season finale of The Simpsons this month. Having just crossed the milestone of its 500th episode, the show is managing to stay current with the help of the pop diva. 


As one might expect from the music sensation, Gaga makes an exhausting 18 costume changes throughout the episode, including her infamous meat dress and some more absurd creations distinct to the animation. (Even those famous Alexander McQueen heels make it into the episode!) Baby Maggie even gets in on the action, fashioning her own pacifier bra in Gaga’s likeness. Gaga herself was completely thrilled with the opportunity, saying,

I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. My dad’s probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out.

And who can blame him? The iconic show has had a staggering 23 seasons so far, with fans just as die-hard as those boasted by Gaga’s own fame. The match-up is one that seems strange at first, but oddly appropriate — just what we’ve come to expect from the Born This Way star. Check out the trailer below.
