Mila Kunis earned some well-deserved attention this weekend, after saving a man’s life at her home. When the man, who works for Mila, started having a seizure, she turned his head to the side so he wouldn’t choke while a friend put a wallet in his mouth. Kunis even offered to ride to the hospital with him! But Mila isn’t the only lifesaving celebrity out there, and we have a gallery of other do-gooders after the cut!
Hop on over to the source to see a full gallery. I hate to admit it, but I would probably almost be okay with almost being hit by a car if Ryan Gosling were there to save me. [via Digital Spy]

I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal. I would like to believe that most people, not just the people mentioned in this post, would have either done the same or gotten help either way.

@neonspangled@xanga - exactly. I mean, surely everyone would save someone’s life/call an ambulance etc for someone who was in danger?

@neonspangled@xanga - i don’t know. maybe i’m just cynical, but i think a lot of people are just too self-involved and too interested in getting to places on time and getting on with their business to stop and help people. plus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect

that’s great i guess. but then again, why is there no recognition for the everyday people that do this type of thing daily ? for jobs or even if they see it happen and take action? also, mila kunis most likely made the situation worse… in the case of a seizure, you should allow the person to finish seizing before doing anything to them (other than moving things out from around them). Why would you put a wallet into a seizing persons mouth?!

What a gorgeous picture of Mila!
As for this article, it’s nice to see celebrity’s caring like this for others around them.
