It has to be said: I am completely in love with M.A.C. products. I’m definitely not one to splurge on beauty products and I’m always trying to be budget-friendly, but the second I tried this product, I couldn’t stay away.
Here are my 5 favorite MAC products.
- First, is the MatchMaster Foundation. I love this foundation because not only does it give you great coverage, but it matches to your skin tone. Even if you go out and get a great tan, it will adjust to your color. I also found out from the experts at M.A.C. that this foundation looks great in photographs.
- My next love in the M.A.C. cosmetics is the Custom Palette Eye Shadow. I have received so many compliments on this eye shadow and iI have to say it lasts all day! The best part, you can create a custom palette from 2 colors to 15 in one set.
- My next pick is the Technakohl Eye Liner. This is surprising because I never thought that the type of eye-liner made a difference — that they are all the same. This liner not only glides on smoothly, but like many of their products, lasts all day. I can definitely tell the difference between the cheaper versions compared to this one.
- The Studio Careblend Pressed Powder is my next pick. This powder is probably my favorite out of all the M.A.C. products that I have. It gives amazing coverage and yet feels very light on my face. It’s definitely a must have, when it comes to pressed powder.
- The last product I’m raving about is actually not makeup – it’s makeup remover. The Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is great for everyone — contact lens wearers and those who have sensitive skin. I love it because it gets the makeup of quickly and gently without pulling the skin around your eye area.
These are products I use every day and swear by! Another quick note to make is the recycling program M.A.C. has. You bring in 6 M.A.C. containers, such as foundation bottles, eyeliner sticks, etc and they will not only recycle them for you but give you a free M.A.C. lipstick of your choice. You can go to the store or send it in.
What are your beauty must-haves?

I find MAC real overrated. I prefer Guerlain (sp?) any idea, hell even Benefit. Also, I’ve never met a worker at MAC who was not a hugely conceited bitch.

Chapstick.

I hate the pro longwear concealer. Too cakey and nc35 changes color. Looks very unnatural.

Love these products! mac has probably the best line of make I’ve ever used! Even in my salon down in long island i recommend them to many of my clients as a replacement for what ever products they have been using. Here’s a link to my blog about beauty and hair maintenance.. http://www.hairsay.com/blog/

Satin Taupe eyeshadow is my hands-down FAVORITE! I also love their cream blushes, and they have great lipstick, too. I own gobs of MAC.

I actually love MAC’s lip glass just the clear one, except the packaging sucks! Also Brier Rose which i use as a blush from the MAC + Disney collection. However, I rarely ever buy MAC, I don’t really like how it’s set up, sales are kind of mean and I can’t access tester stuff by myself…so why bother?

As much as a beauty junkie I am never a big fan of MAC products. The only one thing that I like was Studio Fix foundation cos it matches my skin tone and doesn’t turn darker on me.

@MoonFaeEyryan@xanga - I love Benefit! It’s recently become really popular here in England – it’s expensive but totally worth the cost.

Good grief! MAC is highly overpriced! A lipstick can easily cost you upwards of twenty bucks! Sephora which carries all the high priced beauty & perfume products from MAC – Benefit – Two Faced etc. gives me a headache every time I walk by haha. I swear I bleed money just by looking at it as I walk by!
I use higher end drug store beauty products..they aren’t as expensive as MAC etc. & I personally think they do the job just as well, if not better sometimes.

I use a lot of Mac products. For one, I’m color-blind and being able to try stuff out before I buy it is very necessary. For another, I am very light so trying on foundation or powder before I buy it is very necessary. Drug store eye shadow and blush just doesn’t hold a candle. I’ve spent a lot of money on Drug Store cosmetics that I don’t use because they don’t work out once I get them home and can try them. I actually save myself money by using Mac.

I always wanted to try MAC, but it’s really expensive. I like the look of a lot of their lipsticks and blushes, but I have never allowed myself to spend $20-45 on one thing.

I love, love Mac too! My fave products that I always have on hand are their Studio Fix foundation powder and their eyebrow pencil in lingering. These two products are a part of my simple, daily beauty routine.
