I switched to completely eco-friendly products a couple years ago.
After my cat got cancer, I noticed she was walking on our floors and surfaces and then licking her paws all day. So I wanted to make sure that everything she ingested was safe! Luckily green cleaning products are not only affordable, but you can make them with most items you probably already have in your home.
Here are seven of my favorite diy green cleaning products!
This is my go-to cleaner that I use for practically every surface, and for disinfecting my humidifier. To create an all purpose cleaner, add 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water and optional lemon or orange peels to give it a fresh scent. Baking soda + hot vinegar keeps your drains running clean without the use of harsh chemicals. And soaking your berries in a solution of vinegar and water gets rid of all the mold spores, and helps them stay fresh much longer.

Paper towels create a ton of waste. These reusable cloth paper towels on a roll are absolute genius!
3) Baking soda air freshener
Baking soda absorbs odors, so you can also make an air freshener by combining baking soda with some essential oils for an all natural room freshener.
4) Baking soda your marker and ink stains
Sprinkle baking soda on a damp cloth to remove ink, pencil marks and crayon!
Use baking soda and peroxide to get all the gunk off your baking sheets.
You can even make your own bleach! Simply combine hydrogen peroxide, lemon, and water!

Vinegar for the showerhead = godsend for hard-water homes. I prefer candles for air-freshening, although it just masks the odour. Never tried baking soda, might be worth a shot. But reusable paper towel, might as well just go to the hardware store and buy some microfibre towels. They are used on cars (but also skincare, cleaning monitors, and I think for lens cleaning). With just water they clean things so well, and INSANELY cheaper than the Etsy site you linked, which IMO is a total TOTAL rip-off. You could easily make those yourself without the clips and just, you know, store them in a drawer. Fabric is pretty cheap too if you want to make them fancy.

I actually use vinegar quite often in my own home cleaning and at work too. Great blog will try out the home made bleach as well!

I always add some vinegar when I mopped the floor. Also, bleach is the best thing to clean off the mold in the toilets!
