This weekend may be Cinco De Mayo, but it is also the Kentucky Derby! Which means a plethora of celebrities in derby hats! The derby has had a long run (it started in 1875!) but aside from the tradition of the race, there are a few other traditions too. Mint Juleps to drink and hats on all the ladies.
Here are a few celebrities at past derbies. I personally love Ashley Simpsons’ look, pictured above.
Do you like any of these hats?

Celebrities do love their accessories! but none more, in my opinion, than jewelry. My store in beautiful Manhattan has had many celebs come in the door looking for the finest in jewelry. from rings, to high end watches and bracelets. O how i do love it when they walk through the door with that with that celebrity glow in their eyes! Here’s a link to my site in case you wanted to see what i have to offer.. http://www.michaelfdiamonds.com/

It’s a new life goal of mine to go to the Kentucky Derby once. Or at least be in Louisville for it since tickets are so expensive. (It shouldn’t be that hard… I live in Kentucky….)

Hats aside, horse racing is a horrible, barbaric sport.

@HaleyHailstorm - its on my bucket list too. I have a couple of friends moving to Kentucky in june…we have discussed future visits already.
It has to be pretty expensive though right? not only that, but I’ll need to head to my local haberdashery for a hat and that cant be cheap either. Ill have to numb the pain from my bank account with mint juleps

@LegionOfLucifer@xanga - Canada is on my radar. I could totally see living there in the future. y’all are doing a lot of things right up there. Including breeding derby winning horses, apparently.

@KatieK - Uh, please do not threaten me. We Canadians despise Americans, so do us a favour and STAY DOWN THERE! Yes? Thank you.
