The stars sure make it look easy, don’t they? Those massive round-style sunglasses. They’re high-fashion, and in pictures they look posh, glamorous and ritzy. But when you try them on in the store you say, “Um, I look like a giant bug,” and put them back. Well, luckily you don’t have to rock them Lady Gaga-style to pull off the look. There are tons of styles of round sunnies, and I believe there’s one for everybody. Take a look at 5 easy ways to wear this trend.
The soft-circle. Miley Cyrus rocks this Ray-ban style often. It’s a little homage to the ’70s while staying casual. You can wear these (there are a ton of colors) every day, and they’ll add a touch of high-fashion to your look without feeling like they’re the first thing someone sees about you. From Ray-ban.
The round-on-the-inside. These are a lot more “hip” but they still allow you to accommodate the shape of your face, since it’s only the lens that’s round, not the whole frame. They’re available in all sorts of colors and textures, but I love these wood-grain ones. From Asos.
The pinched circle. Adding softer lines on the sides makes these frames way easier to wear, especially if you’re a gal who loves to wear vintage. The pinched corners turn the style from avant garde to ultra-feminine. From Asos.
The Chloe-inspired fashionista. Wearing unfamiliar shapes fearlessly can be as easy as picking them in a demure hue. These cream and silver sunnies are a great way to blend high-fashion with classic sophistication so you can dress them up or down. And the two-tone is to die for. From Asos.
So, now do you think you could rock the circle-lenses? Round sunglasses, I suppose aren’t for everyone, but hopefully looking around can open your mind to trying them out. After all, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and the rest of them can’t all be wrong!
Which of these strikes your fancy?

I like the Iris Apfel ones, because they look like a crazy-artist-librarian-lady pair of glasses, which is something I would go for. I don’t know how I feel about round frames…at first I hated them, but that’s what I said about aviators and now I wear mine almost every day, so…who knows.
