Even before it was selected as the Pantone Color of the Year, I had a long-standing, unusual love for tangerine in my otherwise go-to neutral palette. Probably my favorite use of this bright hue was for my wedding almost three years ago. My bridesmaids wore champagne colored dresses and had a lovely assortment of tangerine, coral, and orange-y florals. The coral callas and spiky protea took my breath away.
And now at the height of its popularity, there are so many good ways to bring a version of the cheery hue into your life!

Do you think it’s easier for you to add orange to your wardrobe with an accessory, like a pair of graphic earrings or a braided bangle? Or do you like to go all out with a brightly colored dress? I think my favorites orange options are the two that belong in your kitchen – the striped mug and the starburst hand towel. But that crazy necklace is way cool, too. I can’t decide!
