Plastic surgery experts are revealing a new procedure is taking over the world of plastic surgery. Move over breast implants, you are so last year. There is a new plastic surgery trend that has taken its place. What do you think it is? Chin implants.
Yes, chin implants have been gaining immense popularity in women worldwide. American Society of Plastic Surgeons has reported that the chin implant procedure has seen a 71 percent increase in popularity in the last year, and that they expect for the trend to continue to grow.
President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Malcolm Roth stated: ”The chin and jawline are among the first areas to show signs of aging. People are considering chin augmentation as a way to restore their youthful look just like a facelift or eyelid surgery. We also know that as more people see themselves on video chat technology, they may notice that their jawline is not as sharp as they want it to be. Chin implants can make a dramatic difference.”
Would you ever consider a chin implant? Would you ever consider any voluntary plastic surgery?

I might fill my chin out when I’m older and wrinkly cause I have a super small chin. I don’t get why people are getting actual chin implants though, why not just use filler that is more temporary, like juvederm?

My chin is tiny, but I am not sure I would get an implant even when I am older and wrinklier.

I wouldn’t do any kind of voluntary plastic surgery.

Probably not the chin implant. I won’t say that I would never consider any voluntary plastic surgery, but I will definitely say that I won’t while I am relatively young.

Chin implants, huh? It’s quite the opposite in Asia. The smaller chin is desired so much so that there is a procedure to shave the jawline/chin. Regarding chin implants, no, I wouldn’t get one. I have an extra chin already. lol! However, as for other plastic surgeries, I used to be opposed to it. Now, not so much. Who knows?

Although I don’t like my chin, I think a chin implant is a bit extreme.

All I have to say is…I’m against all implants in general because we’re beautiful the way we are right now without changing a thing. People are so obsessed with their looks that they forget to work on their attitudes and outlooks because that’s really what everyone notices. You can have a perfect body/face/skin/etc, but if you’re ugly on the inside, nothing will make you beautiful to anyone.

One of the things I find least attractive on people is a weak chin. I don’t know why. However, I would never get surgey that I didn’t need.

Gawd no. I wouldn’t want stuff hanging out in my body that I wasn’t born with. Shoot a necessary knee replacement would scare me. But I’d reckon necessary knee replacements are possible because a bunch of vain people want to look better. I wouldn’t mind fat transfer! lol The only thing I’d consider is a lower tummy tuck to remove any excess skin from popping out babies.

My husband wants a chin implant, but I never even thought about getting one! I do have a chin that I’m fond of. Cosmetic surgery- I use to say I never would, but… given the opportunity, I think I’d jump at lipo in a couple places. I’ve got naturally large breasts that look great right now but in 20 years, I may need a little lift.

My chin is the least of my worries.

no, my chin would be huge with an implant. I think face implants usually look unnatural. I also don’t see how it would help the “dropping” of your cheeks. If anything, I’d get a face lift.
I’ve heard chin implants are popuar among men who feel like their chin wasn’t expressive enough.

We will never be satisfied with what we have…

@TiredSoVeryTired@xanga - Fat transfer…now that could be cool. Take something natural from your body and put it where you want it! That’s what we do with bras anyway.

@TiredSoVeryTired@xanga - I’d take the fat from my stomach and put it in my butt.
I wonder if they do those surgeries..

Not new at all. Who cares? I was recommended to have a chin implant when I got my nose job. I declined. I’m happy with my feminine, slightly recessed chin thank you very fucking much.

I say this every time there’s a plastic surgery post up. People like to catastrophize these things because they’re ignorant and think everything will wind up like the extremely low, bizarre exceptions of deformity instead of how most of the surgeries pan out, which is good and successful. It is not your place to judge what someone else does to their body nor to place a value burden on it. Most people who do are ugly themselves, which is probably not ironic.
@misslei11@xanga - They do and THAT is a more “new” popular procedure called the Brazil Butt Lift. Look up pics/reviews/doctors: http://www.realself.com/Brazilian-butt-lift/reviews.
92% satisfaction rate, very high
@ShimmerBodyCream@xanga - Usually to cover that much of an area and to the extent an implant would otherwise do, to get a filler like that would be very very expensive. Also its consistency is not as hard as bone, usually. Those fillers are better for soft tissues in the face, but in an area like your chin it could wind up lumpy.
@heart_leigh@xanga - yeah, It’s always seemed to me that asians value real feminine beauty more. In the west, the beauty ideals are usually transient and bizarre, androgynous kinda
