Ribbons and velvet and ruching galore! Scarlett Johansson‘s little black dress was anything but simple at the premiere for The Avengers this week. Is this dress playing up Scarlett’s assets? Or is it detail overload?

She looks good, but I personally don’t like the dress. It seems like the designer had 2 different ideas and on a whim decided to mash it together. Too much going on that just simply doesn’t flow.

She is so nice and one of my favorite actresses, but this dress is…yuk…an ugly hybrid not designed for her shape(s)!!

I don’t find her attractive, so no matter what clothing she wears, I wouldn’t really find her attractive:P she is like naomi watts’ ugly sister. naomi is way sexier. beauty is subjective. I don’t see how some see her as gorgeous.

Yeah, no not a fan at all. I think if it just had the ribbons in the middle, maaaybe a lil something on the side and plain sleek down below, and not all those bunched up ruffles all around it would look better. The breast area is definitely wonky, looks like the dress is trying to pull them off up and to the sides. Also her expression makes it look like she doesn’t like wearing it very much either, but that could have been just because some guy whistled at her or something.

Ah, I love my Scarlett, but this dress is a miss. It doesn’t flatter her wonderful figure, and her breasts look like they are about to slip out of the sides of the dress.. Even if the designer would have flipped the material around (meaning, the top material on the bottom and the bottom on the top) the dress would have been more of a hit.

Also, notice the awkward strap in the second picture on the right side? This dress does not fit her well.. It’s too big in the straps and too small in the breasts..
