The lovely ladies at The Beauty Department have done it again! Not only have they created their own, one-of-a-kind lip colors, but they show you how to do it too!


And the process is much simpler than it sounds.

First, you’ll need two different lip colors that you’d like to mix. Play around with the different amounts to make the shade you want!


Cut off a piece of your lip stick or balm, or scoop some into a spoon.

Next, hold the spoon about four inches over a flame (be careful!) and start to mix it together to create your perfect shade.

Then, once you have your desired shade, pour your mixture into a new jar or pot and wait for it to harden.

From there, you have your own unique lip color. Enjoy!

I can not wait to try this out. I always feel like I can’t find the right shade for my specific coloring, and now I can finally just create my own!
