She could be so attractive if she wanted to be, but she chooses to be pale, expressionless, and to dress like that.

I think she may just genuinely have no personality.

Because she’s boring.

I frequently look expressionless. I frequently forget that I’m supposed to be putting everyone else at ease by looking cheerful and happy.  

Maybe it’s not intentional; apparently I always look pissed off, even when I’m not. =/

Maybe it is just her personality. It’s not like she never smiles, she just doesn’t smile really big all of the time.

I think it’s just the way she looks naturally. People just aren’t comfortable with or used to someone who isn’t constantly showing emotion.

Maybe she doesn’t want to smile all the time or ever. or maybe she doesn’t feel like wearing a big, fake, cheesy grin because people expect her to smile that way.

She never wanted to be super famous. I’m sure being in the spotlight gets exhausting and while some people can keep the charm up all the time, she can’t. There are photos of her looking happy and not sullen if you google her name.

I almost feel bad for her because I honestly don’t think she would have took the role of Bella if she knew how insane the Twilight fandom was and what a big movie franchise it was going to be.

It’s probably because she has no personality and no facial expression what so ever! 

Seems like smiling isn’t her thing. She would be a lot prettier if she smiled more.

she’s not comfortable in the spotlight.  she’s an actress, not a famewhore.  there are so few people left that are only the former that people don’t know what to do with her.  she acts in her roles, not in her real life.  and i respect that.  i get shit for not constantly having a big, fake grin on my face too.  sorry, but life’s not all rainbows and sunshine, and even when i’m happy, i don’t feel the need to show everyone else 24/7.

She’s just one of those people. There’s no need to bash on her for it. I wouldn’t want all the publicity she gets either.

As much as it’s annoying to see in movies, that’s perfectly normal for people would may be uncomfortable socially.

Some aren’t very expressionless unless certain situations arise.

For years my “neutral look” was described as seeming “dead” or “sad”…that changed, but most people expect the “smile and shine” look.

In movies though…it’s very annoying.

Right, I don’t bum Twilight or like her much as an actress (only seen her in Panic Room and shitty Twilight, which she was SHIT in) but seriously, what the fuck has it got to do with you how she looks? Oh and I wouldn’t go around telling people how what why where and when they should be happy, it makes you sound ignorant. Maybe she IS bored, I think I would be, and so fucking what if she is.

I think it’s because she sees through all of the bullshit of Hollywood. The dressing up, paparazzi, idolatry of the “stars”. She acts because she likes to, it’s a job just like any other. She doesn’t like the publicity, that’s why she doesn’t schmooze for the cameras. 

Because that’s her signature look.

imo she doesn’t look bored, she looks uncomfortable, the same way I do most of the time.. Awkward picture poses, hard time maintaining eye-contact and stuttering during interviews. I’m thinking she might have some sort of social anxiety disorder.. which is weird, considering she’s an actress, but not impossible I guess. 

I’d probably get bored of people taking my picture and critiquing me all the time, too.
