Last week, pictures of Jennifer Lawrence without makeup circulated the Internet, some people thinking she still looked amazing, but definitely different with makeup on. And it’s absolutely true; makeup makes a huge difference, not only with eyes, but also in a face’s shape. Recently, many of the Louis Vuitton’s 2010 runway team, pictured above without makeup, were compared with different images of the same models all done up. And the difference is drastic. Check them out in the gallery below.
Some of these women still look gorgeous, but as I was looking through, I couldn’t help but think that many looked…average. Excessively gorgeous with makeup and Photoshop, but without, just a normal person on the street. Pretty, but normal.
Lovelies, how do you think these ladies look without makeup? Outrageously beautiful, or overdone? Which looks do you like better?

This is also different lighting and different poses. Which makes them look different more so than does makeup. So to me the difference in their faces doesn’t actually look that obvious because I’m not focusing on the differences due to lighting and camera angles and posing.

I don’t think they’re all gorgeous “befores”, but very few people are gorgeous without makeup on anyway and I find pointing out flaws to be a useless activity
The makeup does make quite a difference, but so does the lighting and posing of the with-makeup pictures.

Some are just average, so I dunno. But models usually just have very memorable features, even if they’re considered “ugly” features. This is interesting. I love seeing how makeup really changes how someone looks.

A lot of them are wearing make-up, just not the stage make-up that it takes not to look washed out when using the lighting, flashes, etc used in a professional photoshoot. Also in some of the after pictures, they have used so much photoshop they don’t have the chance of looking like the same person.

So I could even be a model, except all of them have large boobs…and my face doesn’t have awesome bone structure.
But seriously, make up does wonders on some of these girls. Some of them are pretty to begin with, though.

Don’t be so naive, the difference between these pictures is
NOT just makeup! The pairs of positions were deliberately constructed to make
the difference between as drastic as possible. In every one; there is a drastic
difference in pose, lighting, hair style and costume. Given all of those
changes, the effect of the makeup is minimal.

Why do they all have such bland expressions in the “without makeup” pictures? I guarantee they’d all be gorgeous if they were just smiling.

To me, most of those girls looked like normal (without makeup), next-door-neighbour types I wouldn’t look at twice if I passed by on the street. I know a few girls that I think are drop dead gorgeous with no/bare make up so I wonder what they’d look like with that kind of makeup!
