I’ve just started to wear buns like this. I love this look! So pretty

I love this! I’ve always wanted to try this style out but I’ve been too timid since I don’t know if I can rock it. I feel like I’d look weird. Might give it a try anyway! My favorite look is the one of the girl in the tutorial picture.

I don’t like how it looks. I prefer buns to look messy, and these just look too uniform. And too donut-y.

Can’t we use a tight scrunchie instead of a sock? Cute look.

So that’s how they make their buns look like that. I’ve always wondered how to get my bun to look like that. hahahha. I must try it soon. I need to go purchase some long socks. haha

@pHdDaNcEr@xanga - And? If I’m at a ballet I’m there to watch the dancing, not to be bothered by stage hair and makeup. I’m allowed to prefer one version of bun to another in every day hair styling.

@tearlessnights@xanga - I don’t think a scrunchie has enough bulk and is probably too wrinkly to work. Socks are cheap man!

My aunt showed this to me months ago on Pinterest when my hair wasn’t as grown out as it is now. I love how simple it is, too!

I’ve done it a few times, my hair definitely has to be wet though, and it only works when my hair wants it to work. My hair has it’s own mind. But I do like the sock bun =]

So doing this. I have that exact same sad little bun in the 1st pic and plenty of odd socks

@ashleynicole - You misunderstood me. You’d have a hard time doing ballet, not watching it.
