OK, it isn’t technically Sally being featured here, but 12-year-old Kiernan Shipka: the actress that plays her. I have to give her mad props from growing from a cute little girl to a stylish young woman (with better fashion sense than me) all over the course of a few years. That’s a great picture at the top. However, at 12 I don’t consider a girl a “young woman,” but maybe that’s just me.

I haven’t watched Mad Men, but this girl is really cute. She does look awfully grown up for a 12 year old though. Also, is it just me or does she look a bit like Katie Holmes in the picture with the yellow dress?

Considering the About section viewed on this site, may I suggest a change in the site’s slogan? I’m sure someone is creative enough to have a better alternative– an honest one.

So.. why is her character’s name used in the title instead of the actress’ name? I mean, it’s not like it would make much of a difference to who comes to view this – I’ve never seen the show and have no idea who the actress or the character is and yet I checked it out. Just seems kind of pointless to use the character name and then mention “but no, it’s actually about the actress and not the character’s style evolution.” Could have saved a whole line of typing by just using the actress’ name in the title.

The clothes? Nothing to scream about. I wore stuff like that in junior hi and high school, and most of it came out of a pattern book.
