Megan is no stranger to gracing the glossy covers of magazines.  However I do think that she is a stranger to a much more artistic-like spread such as what we see in Jalouse Magazine’s April 2012 issue.

Even Megan’s new movie, “Friends with Kids” is much more upscale and adult than most of her previous films.  The brunette bombshell is usually photographed in a sexy, borderline nude way, as seen in this Armani ad from last year.

The actress tried on a much more elegant look and donned a Phillip Treacy hat with an Emporio Armani vest for photographer Alexei Hay.

Megan pleasantly surprised us with a completely different set of pictures than what we are used to, such as her dressed up as a wooden expressionless mannequin.

It seems she is trying to make a legitimate transition in her appearance and her roles so that she can appeal to a much wider audience.  Here are some of her quotes from the interview with Jalouse:

On posing for magazine covers and ads: “I hate taking pictures, I never watch them, otherwise I would have wanted to change everything.  I prefer not to see any and trust the photographer, who knows his job.”

On the importance of her looks: “I live well with my image, I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl.”

Do you think Megan will be able to make the transition to a more sophisticated image as an actress and model?
