@gradef@xanga - I read the books as well. Mainly because I wanted to see what all the hype was about…..It wasn’t my thing….vampires and werewolves freak me out.

@xhalesx@revelife - That’s understandable. I’m a bit squeamish about blood so some of the parts made me cringe. I like to read anything and everything though.

When this movie is on DVD, I am buying myself beer and ice-cream and LMAO as I rent the series. “we’re the same temperature now” “ZOMG. let’s go chupacabra on a deer!” “mmmBella you can still boil my frozen vampire death blood” …cause that’s totally how it went in the book.

@Erika_Steele@xanga - You might be interested in seeing the RiffTrax commentaries. You can look up some parts on YouTube — they’ve done the other Twilight movies and they’re just fucking hilarious.

The books were awful, and the first movie was mediocre. Haven’t seen the rest because I didn’t feel like spending anymore money on mediocre. LOL

Oh, so she does eventually become a vampire. Alright well I guess there’s no need to read/ watch with my question answered haha I have been wondering that since this whole twilight craze got started.
When this trailer came on before Hunger Games, people were laughing. A guy kept saying oh my god. lol I didn’t think they took this seriously or that they want to watch it.

@Orlei@xanga - I don’t think so. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are fine enough actors, and I hate that people base their acting abilities off these movies. Bella is awkward as hell, so Kristen Stewart acts awkward as hell. I think a lot of the stuff said and done in the book just seems corny when translated to a movie. And also Breaking Dawn was ridiculous and Stephanie Meyer feeling the need to write an ending to the “Edward and Bella” story.

And the decade of the 00s will forever be remembered as the decade when the word “vampire” was scary again.

I’m going to watch it, because I’m not a bitchy hater.
XD kidding.I do want to watch it, though, I don’t like not finishing a movie or book that I’ve already started, even if it isn’t something I’m very interested in. I prefer fugly vampire appearances with senseless werewolves. Gothic literature will forever be my ear and eye dildo.

I’d actually be interested if, after however many movies of begging for it, she ended up becoming an evil and sadistic vampire who’d either have to be contained or killed. Instead she just becomes a typically domesticated Twilight vampire who instantly fits in with her domesticated vampire family. It’s like feeling a sneeze coming for four years and then not sneezing — and instead of sneezing, a whole bunch of other dumb shit happens, and a werewolf falls in love with your baby for some reason.

Watched this at the Hunger Games premiere. Everyone laughed at the end. I think the red eyes are really attractive. Especially on Dakota Fanning.

Lol whatever, I love the series. I loved the books & I think the movies do a wonderful job of making the fantasy come to life. It’s cool. & no, maybe the choice of actors wasn’t the best but it’s whatever, they’re not going to change so you might as well get used to them. Also, I agree with a commenter above; Bella was supposed to be incredibly awkward. Come on.

I read the books. I am not ashamed to admit it. Its part guilty pleasure.

She can be a vampire and still suck… -_-” I think what made people hate the twilight saga so much was the poor choice in actors.
