Everything Angelina Jolie does appears to be an “oh, this old thing?” moment. She snatched Brad Pitt with a cavalier shrug, adopted a bunch of kids and yawned. So what happened when we (the Internet) found her Versace dress and coordinating “leg pose” at the Oscars hilarious? 

She was, unsurprisingly, blasé about the whole thing. Or at least that’s what she’d have us believe. Here’s her response to the Huffington Post.

I honestly didn’t pay attention to it. You know what I mean? I don’t watch those TV shows and if I go online and see something about myself, I don’t click on it. And the people I surround myself with don’t really talk about that kind of stuff. [Laughs]. I heard something, but I didn’t pay any attention. It’s as simple as being a woman picking a dress you like and having a night, and not really thinking about anything else.

Yeah, Angie. We know what you mean. When every morning feels like a dreamlike surreality where you’re married to Brad Pitt? Gosh if I had a nickel for every day I felt like that. With so much sexy slinking around to do, who has time to worry about what the little plebes on their laptops thought was worth meme-ifying? Besides, she doesn’t surround herself with people who talk about that kind of thing.


Sorry, Angelina fans. Please forgive the snark. In my defense, I just thought her leg was hilarious. I thought the double-leg photoshop image was bloody brilliant. So yeah, I think she should have paid attention to it. It was freaking funny. Brad Pitt would’ve been able to laugh at himself. And Jennifer Anniston definitely would have. Just saying.
