That jibes with what SJP told 24 Frames last year... that she want to wait "five years" or so before making another sequel:
"I would go back," said Parker, speaking to 24 Frames on the New York set of her new movie, the working-woman comedy "I Don't Know How She Does It." "I think there's one more story to tell. I know there is." ...
"I'd definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?" she said.
Kristin Davis weighed in recently as well... she told Anderson Cooper recently that she wanted to make a trilogy out of it.
It's been a couple of years since "Sex and the City 2" hit theaters, and Kristin Davis is ready to jump back into Charlotte's wardrobe and make a trilogy out of it. On "Anderson" (Weekdays, Syndicated) she said, "It's the best job I've ever had" of her experience doing the show and its spin-off movies over the last fifteen years.
It sounds like it's going to be a while. In the meantime, SATC fans can always check out The Carrie Diaries: a new TV prequel that follows Carrie in her high school years. It's due to premiere this fall on the CW.
Would you watch a Sex And The City 3? And can you think of a plot that could redeem the critically slammed Sex And The City 2? (15% on Rotten Tomatoes!)
