I love throwing parties, but I don’t like spending a lot of time thinking about decor and food. The following tips and tricks are so easy for anyone to use!
2. Freeze berries and mint sprigs in ice cubes to use in cocktails.
3. Put frozen grapes in wine glasses to keep wine chilled
4. Float balloons at different heights for visual interest
5. Float individual blooms in glass cups for an easy, modern centerpiece
More ideas in the gallery!
* Individual cupcakes instead of a cake
* Cupcake fondue for dessert
* Add decorative strings to add interest to balloons
* Add a lifesaver under candles to catch the dripping wax
* Carve tealights into apples
How do you spice up your house for a party? Would you try any of these ideas at a party?

Another cool idea for apples (I do this in the fall, especially) is to hollow them out and use them to serve with. I’ve put ice cream, oatmeal, and even apple pie filling in them. It’s relatively simple and the portions are perfect.

I came into this with the wrong kind of party in mind. Not sure if any of those would work at my parties. Maybe the balloons.
