It only comes around every four years, and as last week’s episodes ’30 Rock’ taught us: it is the one day of the year to take chances, the one day where nothing can stand in your way! Every four years, we get an extra day added to the calendar to make use of! Liz Lemon’s boyfriend, played by the handsome James Marsden, declared on last week’s episode of 30 Rock, “It’s Leap Day. Real Life is for March.”
It takes the earth 365 days and just about 6 hours to perform a complete revolution around the sun. This means that every four years a surplus of 24 hours is accumulated, which becomes Leap Day. Last week’s episode of ’30 Rock’ really made me think of February 29th Leap Day, as an important day on the calendar — a day that should be celebrated to a full extent. Hey, who doesn’t need an extra day to feel free to do whatever they would like?
In reality, it is a little difficult to fully do whatever you want, even if it is Leap Day. But I hope everyone found some way to celebrate this day that we only get every 4 years.
Lovelies, did you celebrate Leap Day? If yes, how so?

I was sick too, in bed all day with a migraine. I really wanted to “do something that doesn’t count”! :[
