A few years ago I went to visit my grandfather in Arizona and when we stopped at a rest stop he bought an ice cream and I bought a coke. My grandfather reminded me that soda isn’t very good for you. And I said, you know, I think we all have something in our life that isn’t exactly great for us, but we do it anyway. And he said you’re right. I eat ice cream a lot, it’s not terribly bad for you, but it can be fattening.
Some of us may also have more than others. Mine are coca cola, sex and potato chips.
What about you? What addictions or guilty pleasures do you have?
That’s a great question! My vices are drinking vast amounts of Diet Peach Iced Snapple, and also sometimes drinking more red wine than I should.

Other than that my guilty pleasures is Bubble teas. I plan to reward myself in massive amounts of bubble teas, big earrings, and goodwill clothes as a reward for each day I go cigarettes free.

Coke Zero. Not only am I addicted to caffeine, but I can’t go a day without drinking an actual Coke Zero. Coffee, other caffeinated drinks satisfy the caffeine addiction, but there’s something about a coke!

Did you try cold turkey? I tried nicotine gum but it tasted horrible. I’m going to try the herbal route now.

I don’t see how sex is a “guilty” pleasure. It’s not like it’s bad for you. Quite the opposite actually.
To answer the question, bad TV is something I go for. The lying game and Pretty Little Liars are not shows a journalist/masters student is supposed to enjoy. I also really like Coca Cola, but I try to eat healthy so I only have sugar on Saturdays.
