This is probably the best news I’ve heard in a long time. If you’re obsessed with ice cream like I am, chances are you’ve had a taste, or many, of Ben & Jerry’s. I would live off of it it it was socially acceptable and wasn’t terribly bad for me. Seriously, why can’t it be a food group? Anyways, it would seem that I got my wish. Well, kind of. Ben & Jerry’s now officially makes Greek Yogurt. Even better, with this healthier nutritional value, we’re not losing out on their crazy good flavors!

While I’m a huge fan of their traditional ice cream flavors like Phish Food and Chunky Munky, the flavors they’re offering for their Greek Yogurt line still sound pretty scrumptious. From Raspberry Fudge Chunk and Strawberry Shortcake, to Blueberry Graham Cracker and Banana Peanut Butter, the flavors don’t sound like they’ll disappoint. While the frozen yogurt does offer less calories and more protein than my traditional flavs, Ben & Jerry’s made sure to cover their butts releasing a statement telling us that it by no means is a truly healthy choice, just a more reasonable option. Fair enough, fair enough. [ via Huffington Post]

OK, so maybe my wish wasn’t fully granted, but we’ll take what we can get, right?

What’s your favorite Ben & Jerry’s flavor, and what flavors of B&J’s Greek Frozen Yogurt would you like to see?
