The Internet has hit a new high, folks. That’s right, for just $68 plus shipping you could be the proud owner of a tweed newsie cap… for your cat. Oh sorry, yeah that last detail is negligible. I almost forgot, cats don’t wear clothes. Because they’re cats. Still, you have to admit Toki Nantucket (yes, that is the model’s name) looks pret-ty dapper, but we can’t all be born with such a natural look of contempt.
It is made of a soft black/grey herringbone wool blend in the classic newsboy shape, with a very slight slouch to the side. The brim snaps down to the crown, so it can be worn unsnapped (poufed up) if you want. There is a small herringbone cover button on top, as all proper newsboy caps will have. It is held on the head with a light elastic under the chin. The cap is fully lined with cotton, and crafted with utmost care.
All joking aside, I had to remind myself to breathe while making this gallery. All cats should wear clothes. And as cat clothes go, these seem to be pretty high-end. Etsy seller CatAtelier is obviously putting a lot of work into these garments. (There are bow-ties. I’m dying.) Have a look at the gallery. And then trot on over to Etsy to clean her store out. You’ll have the snappiest dressed cat on the block, for certain. [via thedailywhat]

People put their dogs in clothes all the time. Why not for cats as well?

I’m sorry…but cats do not like that stuff.
Get a poodle…or a chihuahua….bot please give the cars some dignity!

I am not a fan of putting on clothes/accessories on pets unless it is a collar/harness, or a sweater/jacket if they are cold. My cats definitely will give me stink eye if I tried to put a dapper lid on either one of them.

damn…that’s a sexy cat

@babybug329@xanga - yeah this is definitely not your average cat in these photos. mine wiggled his way out of three collars before we just gave up. a hat is out of the question.

hahhh oh my god this is wonderful.

@kackie - Both my cats roam free (indoor only) without collars, thank goodness for microchips if they ever get out! I doubt they would get far though ’cause they’re way too lazy.

I completely agree with @babybug329@xanga - . Chances are that your cat will do it’s best to get rid of it. But well, if it doesn’t mind (cats usually show), why not, lol.

Why did you put a tupi on that poor cat? I bet it feels so uncomfortable!
