The former child star has successfully made the transition into famous movie star, and has had one hell of a career. From landing leading roles to working behind the camera, Drew Barrymore has done it all. Which is why it’s shocking that the actress is only turning 37 today!

With a career filled with hit movies like The Wedding Singer and Charlie’s Angels, and this particular year filled with an engagement and even some pregnancy rumors, Drew has come such a long way. Especially since playing with an alien when she was just seven years old and overcoming her troubled past, which she is completely open about. Since then she’s rebounded back to the top and has such a positive light and energy it just makes me want to be her friend. So, from a friend you don’t know you have, happy birthday Drew!
