A part of me wonders if this is all some kind of set-up for a WWE storyline. WrestleMania IS in early April, so the timing could make sense. But assuming this is real, props to CM Punk. I haven’t really been watching since he joined the WWE so I don’t really have any feelings about him, but I certainly now respect him.

Chris Brown is a turd. Who knows if it’s a storyline or not. But CM Punk has gotten in trouble with WWE heads for his outspokenness in the past. They just keep him around cuz he’s a moneymaker and a draw with the crowd. I think if it was a storyline, Chris Browns would be more like “yeah, let’s go, I’ll show you!” So it may just be another Punk moment.

I doubt it is a PPV angle, since the company would most likely distance itself from being associated with abuse and actual physical violence (outside the world of sports and sports entertainment).
