Children of the '90s (myself included) are almost guaranteed to remember R.L. Stine's Goosebumps and Fear Street book series. I spent many a night reading his almost age-inappropriate tales of terror, often followed by hours of lying wide-eyed and frightened in bed. Most people probably assume that Stine drifted off into nostalgiaverse, along with Pogs and Furbies. Not true! In fact, the author has a very active (and often very clever) Twitter account, to which he posted a horror story this week. Read it after the cut!
Simple, yet spooky! I'm hoping that Stine keeps up the Twitter works (and that other writers follow suit).
What did you think of the story? Did you used to read R.L. Stine?
