H&M has released the lookbook for their post-Versace designer collaboration. Check out a gallery of Marni for H&M after the cut!
The Italian label’s prices range from $19.95 to $129, and will be available this spring. [via Fashionista]
As with Versace’s H&M collection, nothing really caught my eye here. Frankly, the items look rather cheap, and I bought a dress very similar to the one in the lead photo from H&M (for about $25) in 2007. Polka dots, semi-quirky prints…yawn. I don’t expect anyone to be camping out over night for this. I’d rather drop $129 on a unique designer item than a generic mod-inspired coat.
What do you think of the collection? What are your favorite/least favorite pieces?

the clothes are already tacky but the model’s hair looks like she’s homeless. this homeless chic style doesn’t appeal to me. kristen wiig’s red jumpsuit in a previous post sucked but at least she had nice shiny hair to partially redeem herself.

meh, i’m not liking the prints. i’d rather have some lace… maybe rodarte or givenchy could do a collabo. haha.

I think I’ll stick to regular H&M.

@x_papergirl@xanga - Or maybe they can stop with the collaborations AND JUST SELL ME SOME DAMN LACEY THINGS. And florals. But for real, enough with the not-so-appealing collabs :/

I don’t hate it but it doesn’t particularly excite me either. Not really anything I’d wear…

“hmm.. how should i pose? i know, with my legs wide open looking like a heroin addict begging for a fix. yeah! thatll sell these clothes!”

it’s different, but in a good way. some pieces are wearable.
